Everything continues in one place, only better.
From the home screen, you can keep an eye on all the devices – and see immediately and without further clicking whether the garage door is really closed, the hallway light is on or the socket is active. The app is also backwards compatible, installed devices and settings remain with you.
A light goes on, only more conveniently.
You can now control your smart lamps with a large power button – which directly indicates whether and in which colour the light shines. By the way: The preset colors are not randomly selected, but the 12 most popular light colors; And of course you can change them.
Full energy – only on command.
When it comes to sockets, too, the focus is on simplicity in operation – and of course fun. Yes, you can, even when switching it on and off: press the power button once and the socket clearly signals with a friendly "smile" that it is activated.

How can I change the preset colors?
To change colors, you can simply tap on one of the twelve preset colors. By holding down one of the color buttons, you can fine-tune the selected color for the exact shade you like best. Put together your personal colour palette right away: This will make all your smart lamps and bulbs stand out perfectly in any room.

What are the system requirements for the new Hama Home app?
For the app update, your smartphone needs at least Android 8.1 (or higher) or iOS 16.1 (or higher).

What happens to my devices?
Don't worry: everything will be taken over and preserved. You can also find individually assigned device names, settings, automations, smart scenes, etc. in your app after the update.

Is there anything else I need to do to use Hama Home?
The switch from Hama Smart Home to Hama Home is easily done via the App Store or Play Store as an update – all you have to do is update the app. After the update, simply log in with your registered email address and password and you will remain logged in.

Where can I look up my registered email address?
If you haven't been automatically logged out with the update, you can tap "Profile" in the bottom right corner of the app, then tap the hexagon icon in the top right, and then tap "Account and Security." Your registered email address will be displayed here.
If you are already logged out, you can try out which of your e-mail addresses is registered via "Forgot password" and have a link to reset the password sent to you.
