Why can't I use my mouse any more on my new laptop?
This may be due to a low battery. Change the batteries. Another reason could be a wrong driver. You can check this in the device manager. If you can exclude both possibilities, the mouse or receiver is possibly defective. Exchange the mouse in this case.

When clicking the left side of the mouse wheel I want to get backward, when clicking the right side I would like to get forward. Can this be programmed?
This is only possible with additional software like the X-Mouse Button Control.
