Description
- The Hama N150 2in1 WLAN adapter is an essential tool in setting up and expanding the range of wireless WLAN networks which, in this digital age, are found in a significant number of homes and offices.
Connect a cable (not included) between the WAN socket of the adapter and the Ethernet port of a modem for provision of a WLAN network, with the adapter being used as WLAN router. Connection to the network can now takes place wirelessly (through the adapter) or via the adapters secondary LAN port. Ideal for networks where there are various wireless devices (e.g. smartphones, tablets etc.) all connecting to the same network or where expansive coverage is required and the adapter is required to extend the wireless signal to another area of the building, such as in a large office.
A respectable data rate of 150Mbps supports audio and video streaming to/from connected devices whilst the WiFi protected setup helps to set up encryption connections automatically in full consideration of internet safety and protection of sensitive data. Configuration is supported by Windows XP/Vista/7/8 or Mac OS X operating systems of a network compatible computer for application to wide range of network set-ups.
