Note for Consumers
The time is shown in the 12-hour format by default. If you switch this display to the 24-hour format, the radio signal will go out. The alarm clock will attempt to reach the radio signal automatically at the next time point (usually at night at around 2:00 / 3:00 a.m.). If the radio signal is received successfully, the symbol is shown as normal.
If no radio symbol appears, change the location if necessary and avoid areas with sources of interference (cordless and mobile phones, radio loudspeakers, WLAN, etc.).
The DCF function gives you the exact time, however this is only the case for countries in the Central European Time Zone (CET).
