The USB-C cable is suitable for connecting devices (smartphones, tablets, etc.) with a power supply of 3A or less.
Since modern smartphones and other devices are able to manage the amount of charging current they need themselves, it is possible that this LED may flicker or briefly jump from green to red, depending on the current required by the device.
This can also occur if a device is woken up from sleep and used during the charging process. The power requirement then briefly increases.
