What could be worse when trying to watch TV dirty smears across the screen or accumulations of dust and fingerprints? Due to the static that is often produced dust and dirt are easily attracted to the screen and can quickly gather there over time if your TV is not cleaned regularly. Not only can this potentially reduce the lifetime of your TV by corroding or permanently marking and damaging the screen but it can also significantly reduce its entertainment value by preventing you from seeing a full clear picture.
However, you can’t just spray any old cleaning chemical onto the TV screen and scrub away at it with a cloth. Due to the sensitive nature of plasma, TFT and LCD screens they need special care and using the wrong chemical can lead to severe corrosion and irreversible damage. This LCD/TFT Cleaning Kit from Hama is especially designed for the sensitive surfaces of Plasma, TFT and LCD screens, being free from potentially harmful substances such as alcohol, butyglycol and methanol whilst still removing dust, dirt and grease to leave your TV spotless.
Let Hama Do the Dirty Work
Once applied to the screen the special cleaning fluid takes on a gelatinous consistency in order to prevent it running down the screen so that it does not leak or seep into openings and damage the internal electronics and it remains concentrated on the area you want to clean, even if it is at the top of the screen, and does not run off elsewhere. This also makes it ideal for other similar electronical devices with LCD screens or sensitive surfaces such as computers, notebooks, tablets (e.g. iPad), PDAs, scanners and copiers.
With the cleaning fluid applied to the screen, the included high-quality microfibre cloth can then be use to gently wipe away all grime, leaving a perfectly polished screen with no remaining residue, streaks or smears. With antistatic properties it not only removes the dust it also helps to prevent it from being attracted back at the cloth is also fully allow it to be reused again and again without accumulating dirt itself. There is even a small cleaning brush included so dust and grime can be removed from even the smallest, hardest to reach places such as between keys on a keyboard or in a speaker or ventilation grille for an all round thorough clean.
