WHAT ARE MICROFIBRES? The thickness of microfibres is finer than 1/100 of human hair. Each thread is split into 16/17 micro segments by special physical and chemical treatment. WHY USE MICRO FIBRES? Microfibre wedge shaped cross section threads have more than 40 times surface area compared to normal fibres. These trap dust and dirt and clean easier and more effectively than traditional brushes, cloths and cleaning methods.

Note for Consumers
Please note the following when using the lens pen:
1. Push the brush forward out of the protection chamber using the red/black slide. Remove the dust particles using the lens brush.
2. Remove the opposite cap. Slowly remove the dirt using the special velvet in short circular movements. After use, re-attach the cap and rotate it once - this will activate the fibers.
3. For difficult to remove dirt, breathe on the lenses and repeat procedure.
Not suitable for cleaning camera mirrors. Lens pens are only suitable for small optical surfaces.

When I touch the lens pen with my finger, the finger is marked in black. Does the black colour have any effects on the lens when it is cleaned?
The lens pen has been designed for being used on a lens and therefore leaves traces on other materials. The carbon cleaning tip is immediately ready for use and allows you to clean all optical surfaces quickly, gently and thoroughly.
It is important that you remove the dirt with the lens pen in short circular movements from the inside to the outside of the lens. By doing so, the dirt is dissolved and absorbed by the pad.
Please note the following when using the lens pen again: Put on the cap again, a rotary movement activates the chemical compound once again so that the lens pen can be used for about 50 to 100 times depending on the degree of soiling. Afterwards it should be replaced. Laboratory tests have shown that the lens pen cleans lenses much more gently than conventional cleaning systems.
If you use the lens pen as described, you will get a clean filter/lens glass.
