What you need
Here you will find the update files for SIRIUM speakers and soundbars. You need a storage medium with a USB-A plug for the transfer. Therefore, a standard USB stick with the FAT32 file system (usual standard) and a minimum capacity of 32 MB (free memory) is sufficient.
Please make sure that you download the correct update file for exactly your SIRIUM product.
MCU update step by step
To carry out the software update, proceed step by step:
- Save the update file to your data carrier.
- Disconnect your SIRIUM product from the power supply.
- Connect the data carrier to your SIRIUM product by plugging it into the USB socket.
- Then reconnect the SIRIUM product to the power supply.
The update process will now start automatically. The update can take up to five minutes. Simply wait briefly: As soon as the update is complete, all LEDs on the end device light up.
Once the update is complete, the SIRIUM1400ABT starts automatically. For the other models, please disconnect the power supply first and then remove the USB storage medium. You can then reconnect the power supply and switch on the device.
Stream via Spotify and Hama Smart Audio
After the update, the speaker or soundbar should now also be visible in your Spotify app - and can therefore be used to play music directly from it. In addition, Spotify is now displayed as a source in the Hama Smart Audio app.
